Blue Dog Destruction Request
Edited on Sat Jan-31-09 12:38 AM by BanTheGOP
It is a given that the republican party, which I have opined is a corrupt, criminal organization that should be investigated and indicted through RICO statutes along with ALL party members, would vote 100% against the President and the vast majority of working people. Actions by the republican party are a hate crime against humanity in their own right. My anger will seethe against the republican party for the REST of my life...and beyond. If Anger could be generated from the deepest depths of Atheistic Hell, then I would be the main stockholder.

But this can NOT excuse anyone...ANYONE!!...who has the AUDACITY to have a (D) behind their name to vote AGAINST HUMAN DECENCY! President Obama is putting out the first of MANY edicts that MUST be enacted to socialize and heavily regulate our activities. We have enough trouble trying to reverse the attack by the republican rich against the teeming majorty waged since 1980 (except for a brief respite between 1992 and 2000). The culmination of the republicanization of our society is an absolute health care crisis, global climate destruction, and a near permanent chasm between the races, genders, and nationalities to go along with the worst economic depression since 1929.

But 11 democrats drank the Koolaid. 11 democrats sided with the nazis, the rapists, the murderers...the republicans. 11 democrats who are going to be called out to the carpet, with the contact information of both their offices and the major media in their area published right here in this post.

11 democrats apparently would rather listen to Rush Limbaugh than to Barack Obama.

11 democrats apparently would rather have the rich keep billions of dollars while their local charities' food banks run dry.

11 democrats apparently would rather kick out working Americans out of their houses while ensuring that the rich people who screwed them up with a blatantly criminal mortgage redecorate their offices with $80,000 throw rugs and curtains.

In short, 11 democrats said GO TO HELL.

WHY??? Let me retort very clearly...

We have a mandate to change this country!

We have a mandate to socialize this country!

We have a mandate to save the planet!

We have a mandate to integrate with the rest of the countries!

WE HAVE A MANDATE TO TELL THE GOP TO GO FUCK THEMSELVES!

And instead...THIS is what we get!!

NO MORE POLITICS!!

There...I feel better... NOW ONTO MY CHALLENGE.

We need to contact these DINO-fucks that we MEAN BUSINESS. First of all, they are on notice. UNLESS they vote the progressive agenda from now on out, we will do EVERYTHING we can to get a progressive voted in place instead in 2010. There is NO REASON WHATSOEVER that it can't happen.

I won't hold my breath...so let's put these blue dog piles of shit to the fire. Fill up their fax machines, plaster their email boxes, and really, really give them both barrels on their voice mails, or better yet, to their doofus aides if they have the temerity to answer the phone.

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 1:

http://www.house.gov/bright/">Bobby Bright - Alabama's second district

Bobby-boy's whine? "Not enough tax cuts."
HEY YOU NOT-SO "BRIGHT" PIECE OF KUNG-PU...you don't GIVE businesses more money to keep for themselves...you give it to the people who can get this economy going...the CONSUMERS! So no soup for you, brainiac.

CONTACT

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 2:

http://www.house.gov/Griffith/">Parker Griffith - Alabama's fifth district

He wants to give money to freakin' NASA!! We don't need more monkeys in space playing mumbledee peg in space stations...we have MOUTHS to feed and KIDS To educate! Go play with toy rockets on your own time... ingrate!!

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 3:

http://www.house.gov/boyd/">Allen Boyd - Florida's second district

He actually thinks that the democrats in congress ARE PARTLY RESPONSIBLE. Boo! Hiss...."This stimulus package does not address the issues that we know are at least partly responsible for the economic downturn, and that is years of irresponsible fiscal policies rooted in out-of-control spending and borrowing."

No, Boydee-poo...it was the freakin' corporate policies that REAMED THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY while the bosses FLEW IN CORPORATE JETS to exotic places... JESUS!

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 4:

http://www.minnick.house.gov/">Walt Minnick - Idaho's first district
He thinks that if we don't get the money out there, the stimulus won't happen until the banks are functioning. HEY McFLY!! HELLO?? You need to give the banks money BEFORE they can function!! As long as we have our fingers on the control, THEN the banks won't squander our money!! BUT..they need the money...FREAKIN' NOW!!

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 5:

http://www.ellsworth.house.gov/">Brad Ellsworth - Indiana's eighth district
You claim that there is no actual meat in the bill that will result in actual economic stimulus. BULL SCHNITZEL!! We are in a RACE, son... we need to get things MOVING NOW!! The POINT of doing this stimulus package is so we can get OUR people in place to REGULATE these actions...SO THE STIMULUS WILL BE SUCCESSFUL.

But if you PUSSY FOOT IT for now, we stand to lose BIGTIME. Our kids will suffer, our elderly will suffer, our poor, our minorities, and our non-republicans will suffer. The ONLY people who WON"T suffer are RICH WHITE REPUBLICANS LAUGHING THEIR ASSES OFF at us!! Ellsworth, you stink..get a MOVE ON DOT ORG, will ya??

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 6:

http://kratovil.house.gov/">Frank Kratovil - Maryland's first district
You claim that the stimulus includes money for the National Mall and the National Endowment for the Arts. But WHAT YOU FORGET is that the money WAS ALREADY GOING THERE ANYWAY...and you are USING IT AS AN EXCUSE TO brown nose your republicanist masters!! What is in the freakin' WATER in Maryland? Fer christ's sake...does Joe Biden have to come by your place on his way for a weekend trip to Dover to tug at your blue-dog ear?

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 7:

http://www.collinpeterson.house.gov/">Collin Peterson - Minnesota's seventh district
I don't understand this one: He claims that the money is NOT going for job creation, unemployment compensation, and food stamps. That is BOGUS! The money is going to the families who DESERVE and NEED IT the most, OR to companies who will be HIGHLY MONITORED by the Barack administration to make SURE that they spend their money right! Another whore for the repbublicanist masses...

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 8:

http://www.taylor.house.gov/">Gene Taylor - Mississippi's 4th district
Here is your quote: "If anything is in it for the Coast, I don't know. I don't think it's worth the $800-billion price tag." YOU SELFISH BASTARD!! It's not whether the Coast is getting anything. Hell, if anyone is rich enough to live on the coast they don't NEED this help. You've got POOR PEOPLE and MINORITIES who will be the beneficiaries of this stimulus, which will THEN get the economy going as LONG as the administration and the Democrats have their hands on the controls. Get your head out of the Alabama marshlands, dolt!

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 9:

http://shuler.house.gov/">Heath Shuler - North Carolina's 11th district
Your quote: "The legislation before the House today contained too much additional spending in areas that will not offer immediate economic stimulus." WHAT??? Have you even READ what it will do? We are freakin' BLEEDIN' ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD like a piece of meat, the shot delivered by republicanist corporate murderers, and you WORRY about spending? WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE TRYING TO DO? Get off the POT and start hitting your district and TELLING your constituents that WE NEED THIS STIMULUS!!

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 10:

http://kanjorski.house.gov/">Paul Kanjorski - Pennsylvania's 11th district
Hey, Kanjy-man, here's your quote: "All Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle needed to provide their input, but unfortunately this was not possible." YOU STUPID ASSHOLE!! WHY should we listen to WHAT THOSE STUPID FUCKS from the OTHER SIDE OF THE AISLE want? Do we go to prisons and ask gangbangers how to treat people nice? Do we go to corporate presidents and ask them how to live on a poverty budget? GET ANIMATED, you FREAKIN' DUNCE!!

BLUE DOG PILE OF SHIT NUMBER 11:

http://www.cooper.house.gov/">Jim Cooper - Tennessee's fifth district
Your quote: "I hope the next version of the bill stays closer to its purpose: helping America recover from the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression."

<Sigh> Do I really have to respond to that? You know damn well that this is the worst depression since the thirties; as a matter of fact this depression is WORSE. You know damn well that the republicanist criminal policies transferred most of the wealth from workers and poverty stricken minorities to fat cat republicans white boy corporate chieftans. You admit it...and vote against it anyway. I have nothing to say to you but... GO TO FUCKING HELL!

_______________

OK, DU'ers...let's get to work and hit those free weekend minutes and BURN UP THESE CONGRESS CREATURE'S LINES. They MUST be held accountable. They MUST KNOW that we have progressives in place in EACH of those districts that are ITCHIN' to take their place in 2010! I realize that their votes "didn't matter" to the overall passage of the bill...but what happened was FAR WORSE...it got the RUSH LIMPBALL TYPES in arms! WE MUST destroy ANY chance they have of a comeback.

WE have the MAJORITY...but we must NEVER LET UP!! We must POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND and POUND! NEVER LET UP...

On Sunday, I'll have my marching orders for our Democratic senators. We can NOT AFFORD another senator going to the dark side! We have a DAMN NEAR FILIBUSTER-PROOF MAJORITY, and we will HAVE one next time around...but we can't let the republicans have ANY MORE MORAL VICTORIES!!

HIT THE PHONES!! You have the links above...now MOVE IT!!

4. Most of them are in conservative districts.
I don't see how beating them in the primary, and most likely a Republican winning in the general, is going to help our goals.

We're better of:
1) Targeting conservative Dems in the more Democratic districts so we don't diminish our majority in the House.
2) Put more effort into recruiting and funding good progressives to run against beatable Republicans.

6. Don't forget the other side...
...this is NOT about winning in districts...it is about winning with IDEOLOGY. We do NOT need those districts, per se. But this creates a BIGGER problem than just worrying about losing an election in 2010.

If we can't even agree among ourselves about the financial 9/11 we are living through, then that gives RED MEAT to the republicanist bastards. Right now, they are backed up, in their corners, scared shitless. IT IS NOT TIME TO PLAY FOOTSIES with these snakes! I for ONE would rather lose districts than win them with FAKE DEMOCRATS and FAKE PROGRESSIVES.

I'm really pissed that we don't take this to the mat. When we have a mandate, we should NOT LET UP AND SHOW WEAKNESS.

8. If Republicans
gain enough seats in the next election or two to challenge the Democratic majority then it WILL become about winning districts very quickly. Winning more districts also means we can lose the votes of some conservative Dems once in a while and still pass our bills like we did on this one.

12. Agree with you
I would be interested in what the wheeling and dealing behind all this was.

When you have a piece of legislation that is definitely going to get through it is customary to give some colleagues a pass because it may reflect badly upon them in their district.

I don't know if that happened here, but it is a possibility.
I don't live in any of the above districts, so I don't know what the opinion of the people in those districts are.

I vote in the Quad Cities in Illinois. Very Democratic, somewhat conservative

20. You're lucky.
You have the most liberal Congressman outside of Chicago. That's the kind of Dem district where I would have a real problem with a conservative Democrat. If someone like Jacobs were to run I'd be looking for someone more liberal in the primary.

The IL 5th Congressional District race to replace Rahm is a good chance to make sure we get a liberal instead of a moderate if that's what people want to do. That district would elect Karl Marx if he won the Democratic Primary.

10. I completely agree with you -- the OP's emphasis is wrong.
Sure, it would be nice to replace each of those eleven with the local equivalent of Dennis Kucinich, but it won't happen. I agree with your two points of emphasis, but I'd add this one:

3. Put more effort into state legislative and gubernatorial races so as to influence the post-2010 redistricting.

Where there are a couple strong conservative Congressmembers (D or R) whom we can't beat, wouldn't it be fun to see them thrown together into the same district? :D

21. Absolutely.
There are many unwinnable Republican incumbent protection districts. We could probably win 10 new seats between Illinois and Texas alone if we draw the new districts in both. It's frustrating when progressives only want to get involved in federal offices.

9. Blue Dogs have as much right to their opinions and positions as ..........
an ultra left wing, moderate, centrist, conservative or left of center democrat (Democrat). The STIMULUS package that has been presented doesn't do a GD thing for manufacturing; America needs to start making the items it uses and until this is realized there is no hope for a sustained economic or financial recovery. The left wing, like the right wing loves to shoot itself in both feet while chasing its tail.

16. I agree
the stimulus package does nothing for manufacturing, and IMO, that's the main thing it should be doing. Buy American shit, by the truckload. Everything else should be separated out into it's own package.

15. So, the party of inclusiveness
is to become as narrow minded as the GOPPERS?????

I'll take the diversity of opinion, and freedom of everyone to say and believe what they want, and try to change their opinion through data, discussion and logic, not through exclusion, anger and isolation.

Thanks for the "concern".

23. I blame plurality voting
I believe that if you diced the two-party system a little more finely -- say Libertarians, Greens, Socialists, even the God Party were given a non-wasted vote and a proportional seat at the table -- the most harmful parts of the GOP's agenda would never pass, and we could stop this game of compromising with just enough of the unethical, hypocritical half of the population to console them for their "wasted" votes.

That said, screw RICO, we have the PATRIOT Act now. If it can be used against 12-year-old kids who call in bomb threats it should definitely be used against Hannity, O'Reilly, Scaife, Murdoch, Cheney, GWB and as many other fearmongers as Gitmo has room for.

18. Thanks for the rundown
I don't think it's important to vote in lockstep like the Republicans did. I was initially curious whether there were "no" votes from the left (the bill is FAR from perfect, larded with way too many tax cuts as a sop to the folks who LOST the election big-time!). Apparently not.

I hope that, in light of House Republicans' indication that they prefer irrelevancy to compromise, these so-called blue dog Democrats deprive the right-wing loonies of the fig leaf their votes provide ("we brought several Democrats along with use; see how bipartisan our stance is?").

The Confederacy never fully accepted the terms of surrender. The states that continue to support Republican orthodox dogma should have all federal spending suspended that isn't for the well being of the down trodden. We've heard enough of their bullshit. It's for reconstruction to end.
