Stores held up by robber armed with a Klingon sword

COLORADO SPRINGS (AP) — Colorado police say a man with too much "Star Trek" on his mind used a sword modeled after the weapon carried by Klingon warriors to demand money from two convenience stores.

Investigators say the man took an unknown amount of cash from a 7-Eleven store Wednesday but left empty-handed when he tried to rob another store about 25 minutes later.

Off course becouse the weapon from Klingon are something far better than the piny little light saber that the US tend to put into the galaxic war when they are showing off... And the Klingon weapon is far more bloody than the light saber too:evilgrin:

I do not know, I am not american:eyes: Even that I once was thinking serious about emigrate to your wonderfully country.. But somehow it was going down the road, and I never managed to do it.. And I guess I am little to old now, and into my ways of life to root up and emigrate to US..

Maybe they should that. And a life light saber should be a mighty weapon when you want to rob a bank:P: But I do not believe the Light Saber to be that impressive as an Klingon Battle axe.. I for one would shit in my pants if some was coming in with that type of weapon and with bad intend in mind..

Anyway, nice to meet an European here on DU even that you might se yourself as american as the rest of who are here on DU;).. Must have been hard to learn a new language at age 6.. I would say it it would be difficult for me at age 32...

To be correct i am coming from outside Oslo, in a suburb called Asker, not exactly a City, but neither a village. With 53.000 people in the country and a Centre with the most important thing at hand I would say we are as like a City as Oslo are it - but the officials here in Asker country just do not want to name it a City - most because we got some tax refund because of our status as non-city and if we ever was to loose our "village" statues, it would say we lost a couple of millions a year in lost revenues.. But Asker train station are the 3 active railroad station in the country - because everyone who are using the train southward would came true Asker sooner or later... Important station that is... Well, that and we have the highway southbound is maybe the most important notes in Asker. And yes, we have also the official residence of our Crown prince here in Asker.
