Cracking the Orrin Hatch “Code”

Orrin Hatch thinks Obama is using “code” when he refers to “empathy” as a qualification for the Supreme Court. Republicans HAVE no empathy. But Hatch should be listened to, since he knows all about codes and Senate confirmations. He was a defender of Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork, after all, hearings with no politics being played. So let's try to break the code that infuses his speech.

1. His code is clear

He wants a Justice that will "follow the rule of law" even thought the law now is RVW.
His intention is for socially activist judges to make a new law to over throw a woman's right to privacy.

Is a word he has disdain for. 'Nuff said.

3. I've always wondered how Hatch is held in such high esteem by Republicans since

some Evangelicals consider Mormanism to be a cult.

they think he's one of them.
