Torture is plain wrong (Camps / Denver Post)

... arguing with someone about whether it's OK to torture people is like arguing about whether it's OK for a grown man to have sex with a 10-year-old child.

While in both cases one can give a long list of compelling reasons why it's not OK, in the end one is tempted to limit the response in such debates to seven words, to wit, "what the hell is wrong with you?"

Yet we may wish to consider precisely what the hell is wrong with George W. Bush, and Dick Cheney, and the honorable Jay Bybee, and Professor John Yoo, and Michael Goldfarb, and the whole amen choir of torture enablers in the media, who continue to babble hysterical nonsense about ticking time bombs and existential threats, and the importance of not criminalizing "policy disagreements" ...

they even broke the English language to the point where up is down, black is white, nothing has any real meaning when they speak.
