One of the women was Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and who has caused some controversey....just google her for more info.

One woman was Jack Kemp's wife receiving a posthumous award.

Chita Riviera is a performer...dancer, singer, etc.

Another woman not pictured was Janet Rowley, MD who has done some stellar work in genetics. So it had to be one of those four. Now I'm thinking I should have chosen more women but I usually try to choose the best pictures based on the photography and I should try to look past that I guess. Hmmm.

I was confused when they announced this on "Hardball," since they panned three women among the winners, while announcing names of the male winners. Of course I recognized Sandra Day O'Connor, but not the other two. I know who Mary Robinson is, so one of them must have been Jack Kemp's wife. I remember when he died; my BF had the LBN thread. You wouldn't believe the deleted messages... x( :hi:
