The back of Bob Skwaryk's Jeep has bumper stickers identifying the driver as a Vietnam veteran, a Desert Shield/Storm vet and a Veteran for Kerry. Or it did until someone ripped the Kerry sticker off this ex-Marine's car while he was in the Parkway Center Giant Eagle buying groceries one Sunday morning in May.

The identity of whoever stole this 70-cent bumper sticker on the morning of May 23 is unknown. If you know who it is, don't take him to the police. Take him to the nearest American Legion post. Then ask the first man you see if a veteran has the right to support whichever presidential candidate he likes. Then step back, because the next thing scraped off might not be a bumper sticker.
