1. I recognized those words immediately
They came to me several times over the weekend, when I attempted to find a morsel of information about ANYTHING happening in the world other than people falling to their knees to prasie the godly Reagan.
It was disgusting -- aside from the fact that they ignored more senseless deaths in Iraq and the massive protests against Bush in Europe -- we had to have a steady diet of "Reagan saved the planet!!!"
And I remembered another important moment in American history -- when RFK was shot on June 5th and died and on June 6th -- now probably obscurred forever by the passing of this conservative icon.
