The frustration that House liberals have had with White House press secretary Robert Gibbs has festered throughout the 111th Congress.

And it boiled over this week as two House Democrats called for Gibbs’s head after he made controversial statements to The Hill about the “professional left.”

The strained relationship between Gibbs and some House Democrats goes back to early last year when powerful Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Jim Oberstar (D-Minn.) publicly criticized President Obama’s top spokesman.

Gibbs and Rahm's unprofessional behavior and irresponsibility and outright nastiness!

Because they KNOW it is they who will get the middle finger salute in Nov when the liberals in their home towns/states will be the ones staying home because of this behavior!

They will be the ones experiencing the blow back, not Gibbs or Rahm!
