November Rain....Message to my fellow Democrats......

Aloha, brothers and sisters of the Democratic Underground.
I have some words I'd like to share, a message for my fellow Democrats.


Things may not go as We hope come November....We may lose the House....We may lose the Senate....We may lose both.....and I'm sure We will lose a few more governorships......but what matters is that We try....that We make the effort....that We put up a fight and that We don't go quietly into the night. There's always a chance in America. Nothing is certain. No seat in the loser's lounge with our name on it. No magnet pulling Us there. No demagogue We can't stop. No tyrant that can keep Us down. Damn it, man! I eat Pigs for breakfast! We are the Champions of Liberty. We offer a More Perfect Union. And We fight for ALL THAT COULD HAVE BEEN in the name of all of our murdered leaders. For We are the Children of Assassination and We are bound to a cause greater than ourselves. And We are the last and best hope for the American Dream.

The work is hard. The road is long. The meaning is uncertain. But in the end, we are either bound by a faith in our fellow man, or we are not. Like the Miracle Mets, You have got to f%#%ing believe. Let it be known, my faith is all I have and know, and I believe that we can and will do better, one day, as a nation and a people; and I'm committed to sacrificing my entire life for the sake of posterity, like our forefathers before. By virtue of birth, this country has given me opportunities that, in good conscience, I cannot forget when the going gets tough, and all seems lost. I go down with this ship, ladies and gentleman. If the s%#$ hits the fan, I ain't moving to Canada. I might build an ark, but I'm defending my territory and my country from all threats foreign and domestic until the very end.

We can crush this tide. We can silence the mob and their bigotry. We can restore America's fiscal house. We can get America moving again. We can bring the jobs back, and We can help in the creation of jobs that never were. And at the same time, We can reform Healthcare, comprehensively. And We can end the wars, responsibly and soundly. And We can reform immigration, humanely, strategically, and permanently. And We can save Social Security for the future and beyond. And We can save our Mother Earth. And We can Save the American Dream.

Let's do this People. Let's show the Tea Party what a 'Rally for the Republic' looks like! Let's show the world that no matter what the political score may be, We are still strong, and nobody's gonna just push Us out the way. So, spread the word. Rally on Assassination Drive. Pay Your respects to Your dead President, if You haven't done so already. See the exact spot in the road, where this country lost itself to ruin. And find strength in the Person next to You, as We stand tall and dedicate the rest of Our lives to insuring ALL THAT COULD HAVE BEEN is done and more. Let Us commit to Walk that Line.
Let Us not say to the children, in Our words and deeds, "I will let you down, I will make you HURT." (NIN) Let Us vow, in word and deed, to make them stronger, to give them the keys to the world and beyond. Let Us start again on a new path of prosperity. Let Us find the Way.

2. We either heal now, as a team, or we will continue to lose on the field...

a bunch of radicals running around D.C. making demands of the President is not going to help our party in the mid-term elections or beyond. I apologize for speaking bluntly, but that's the truth.

3. Clearly a "Democrats, united we stand, divided we fall"

I like it a LOT. The rethugs are united against the Democrats, Liberals, and Progressives. They'll vote, en masse, for any rethuglican be it a T-bugger or Con, but they'll vote for the one with the "R" by their name.

We are in the majority in this country. If we don't unite now, and push more Democrats into office, we'll have no one but ourselves to blame.
