Stepping Up Propaganda Bush Tax Cuts Heritage Foundation
Stepping Up Propaganda Bush Tax Cuts Heritage Foundation

The Heritage Foundation is paid $Millions to Implement the Republican Agenda, first change the name to Obama’s Tax Hikes (not Bush Tax Cuts .) Then throw out some study that it will hurt everybody if Obama lets Bushes Tax Cuts Expire, Assuming Everybody does what the Rich do or will not do with the money they will not pay in taxes.

First off change the wording!

(Obama’s Tax Hikes) on High-Income Earners Will Hurt the Poor—and Everyone Else

This method is a viable way to estimate the distribution of the dynamic effects of the macrosimulation because it is reasonable to assume, for the purposes of estimation in an economic forecast, the stability of certain macroeconomic variables. For example, because the share of total average income to each quintile is relatively stable over time,<9> the aggregate income target can be distributed to individual filers such that the historical quintile shares of total average income are preserved.

Then throw out numbers from study that is completely irrelevant because its based on what the rich will do with money not paid in taxes, that is impossible to predict and allows a infinite amount of number manipulation.

3. Whoever at the Heritage Foundation wrote that knows jack shit about corporate taxation
According to the linked article (thanks, Independem), tax increases (or, more precisely, the end of Bush's tax cuts) cause businesses not to buy new machinery or hire new workers.

Strangely enough, every Subchapter C corporation I've ever worked for used equipment purchases and employees, in part, as tax shelters. Because equipment purchases are deductible and so are employee paychecks, as your equipment and personnel expenses go UP your taxes go DOWN.

Besides...uhh...is there such a thing as a Subchapter S corporation or LLC, except maybe a professional office like a doctor or a lawyer, that's making enough money to put itself into the tax brackets in question? One would think that a company throwing off $200,000 in taxable profits would be a Subchapter C corporation, or at least you'd hope this to be the case.

4. I wish they would stop allowing pukes to frame the issue as tax increases.
Or that extending the bush tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires would do anything to improve the economy. Since under bush the tax breaks have been a naked grab to redistribute income to the super rich and to deliberately bankrupt this country so social programs like Medicare and Social Security could be starved out of existence.
