Democrats strategists ready to take page from GOP playbook in 2012.
Major Democratic strategists, still reeling from a barrage of midterm spending by conservative groups, are planning a similarly well-funded campaign by liberal organizations aimed at reelecting President Obama in 2012.

The fledgling discussions - including a conference of top Democratic donors that wrapped up in Washington this week - underscore a dramatic shift in strategy by Obama and his aides, who quashed plans for major outside groups in 2008 in order to rely on their own record-breaking donor efforts.

But many chastened Democrats now say they must fight fire with fire by encouraging the formation of counterweights to the GOP-leaning independent groups that dominated the airwaves this fall. One of the leaders, American Crossroads, says it plans to continue running ads against the Democratic agenda for the next two years.

1. Go global
Raise money from all over except from middle east sources and Russia Hell the whole world knows the GOP is a global menace Foundations, green industries, international unions will give us money because they know we are in a caged match to the death. We will disclose though. The GOP won't and we will look more honorable. Then we can win and get rid of citizens united once and for all !

2. YES! Very happy to hear this, as I've advocated creating 'chief financial officer' spot.

3. Its too late for that. they lost control of the house
While I do have the words to describe my disappointment at the way our Representatives
rolled for the pukes these past two years, The moderators wouldn't like them.
Now they have another standing excuse for no results.

5. We react to their innovations
instead of being the party leading the charge. The GOP comes up with something effective, the Democrats don't notice it until it's too late, and we lose for at least one election cycle.

It needs to be the other way around.
