Pakistan's government has argued for almost a decade that it is doing everything in its power to fight extremist groups on its soil.

CBS News senior foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan says that's quite simply a lie.

"If you walk in Arlington Cemetery, past the fresh graves of American soldiers coming back from the field over there, Pakistan has some of the blood on its hands. They need to answer for that."

I for one was NOT shocked to hear that Osama was living in the Pakistani Equivalent of West Point.

I feel sorry for the thousands of Soldiers who died fighting in Afghanistan while this POS was living luxuriously under the shelter of "America's greatest ally" on the war on terror!

We have Pakistani blood on our hands as well. Afghan blood, Iraqi blood, Yemeni blood, Libyan blood. So much blood has been spilled over the last few decades that it could fill a great lake. Yet still we persist in this war on terror which cannot be decisively won, we persist in this struggle that most understand will not end. Propaganda versus the truth, compassion and empathy versus hatred and ignorance. The ancient struggle to define what is good and right as opposed to what is evil and wrong.

The war on terror, ultimately, cannot be won through physical or military means. It can only be won through winning minds and hearts on all sides.

I'm not going to despise Pakistan or their government or intelligence agencies any more than I do our own. We are as guilty as they of terrible crimes, ultimately, right or wrong, we have far more blood on our hands than they do. The pot calls the kettle black, neither realizing the irony or absurdity of the statement.

The only strategic interest we have in them is in preventing their nuclear arsenal from falling into radical hands, but they are just as bad. They are extorting us. Our national security priority should be in eliminating Pakistan's nuclear capability and well as preventing other rogue states from acquiring them and doing the same.
