Michigan recall: Our ads are running and volunteers are streaming in

We've almost reached our goal of $20,000 to run online ads to sign up 10,000 volunteers for the recall in Michigan. Please, chip in $6 now.

As of 2:15 pm eastern today, 1,125 Kossacks had contributed $17,500 to run Facebook and Google ads in Michigan to sign up volunteers for the recall effort. At that time, I turned the ads on, and volunteers have begun to pour in. Our participation in the campaign to recall Rick Snyder in Michigan has officially begun.

Our plan is simple: we are going to keep running online ads in Michigan to find as many recall volunteers as possible, and then connect the volunteers to the ground game in their county. A framework of that ground game is already in place, with organizational leaders, petition circulation trainings, and teams of volunteers in every county in the state. As the weeks progress, we are going to keep signing up more volunteers and FireRickSnyder.org will keep getting more effective at helping those volunteers circulate petitions.

Amazing as always, you guys have already raised enough money for us to signup roughly 9,000 volunteers. Still, with a goal of 807,000 valid signatures and a due date of August 4th, we are actually going to need to sign up even more. Please, if you have not already done so, contribute $6 to Daily Kos to recall Rich Snyder in Michigan.
