Big Daddy was good, then terrible to Uganda
August 18, 2003

Dear Tingasiga,

Throughout his eight years in power, Uganda's life president Field Marshall Dr Idi Amin Dada never missed an opportunity to remind the world, especially those, who harboured thoughts of murdering him, that he knew the exact date and precise manner of his own death.

Dr Amin frequently reminded the Israeli and British leaders, who had installed him in power on January 25, 1971 only to turn against him after he switched his allegiance to the Arabs, that their plots to kill him were destined to fail.

The Lord God Almighty had revealed the great secret of Amin's death to him during one of their regular intimate chats, details of which he understandably preferred to keep to himself.
