Saving face, losing a war
Snip:

Bring 'em on," the man said. He is not a brave man, but he plays one on television.

When it came his turn to fight in a war, he hid behind Daddy. Then he had another drink and hid from the National Guard. Then he had another drink.

When our nation was attacked on Sept. 11, he hid in an airplane, flying to and fro around the country. While our nation was crying for leadership, he was making sure the coast was clear.

He later had his minions blame the Secret Service.

"Bring 'em on," the man said, puffing up his chest. And they did bring 'em on, one bomb at a time, one rocket-propelled grenade at a time, one rifle shot at a time, so terrifying to a relative of mine that she cried herself to sleep every night she was there.

(It gets even better, but copyright rules, well, you know...)

3. what about saddam
I wonder if he could re-emerge to power if they pulled out... if that is his plan... to outlast the political will of american's interest in killing their own youth... and come out of the cellar with his shadow government to take back the country and, now after being proven the truth-teller in terms of the WMD claims, become an even more vociferous problem for the US.

Boy the american government is stupid. I hate those stupid fuckers in wasthington... they always lie and truly it would be a much better world if washington just sunk in to teh center of the earth and was never heard from again.

4. Yes...
The potential of so much good FOR the world and as a PART of the world is being not only squandered, but pissed into the gutter.
(Sweetheart, I'm SO glad that I'm the center of MY universe. The fucks can't touch me there!)

6. It can stay here too
We have a new allowance for dupes in different forums, just not within the same forum. No problem.

Great article, btw!
