I live in freeper/fundie/wingnut territory here in NC. I see my share of bushbot bumperstickers daily. The one I saw today bothered me more than any I have seen before. It Read:

"GOD, GUNS AND GUTS, KEEP AMERICA FREE"

....of course it is in the RW&B flag motiff to complete the message.

11. I saw that in MA too-at the Home Goods in Bedford and I

left a homemade bumpersticker of my own in his wiper blades: Support Our Troops-Bring Them Home Now!

It is rare to see Repuke stickers around here-though I occasionally see a pro-life sticker.

sticker on my car. I am too chickenshit to be confronted, some of these wingers are very scary. I still have my "peace is Patriotic" but need to update it. I need to find a nice middleground one that won't provoke an attack on me or my vehicle.

15. There was one I saw recently...

"Either get BEHIND American troops, or get IN FRONT of them". The bumpersticker was on a Toyota.

I scribbled a quick note to leave for them: "I'd be more inclined to take your bumper sticker seriously if it wasn't on a Toyota. Either get BEHIND American made cars, or..."

I successfully resisted the urge to leave the note under their windshield.

16. What's the proper response to RW wingnut billboards and bumper stickers?

There's a billboard up in a nearby town that says "Thank you environMENTALists, for making the 2002 wildfires all they can be"

And one in another nearby town that says "Fight Terrorism! Get U.S. Out of the U.N.! Free info: 1-800-END-HOOK"

Would I be justified in putting my chainsaw to good use or would paint balloons be better? :) jk
