Entertainment for Bush Supporters
While Brett Favre was passing his team to "destiny" this weekend, others near his hometown of Kiln, Mississippi were entertaining themselves differently. 22 were arrested Saturday night and 28 dogs were recovered at a dogfighting pit in the woods NW of Kiln. Police estimate 80 people were in attendance but many fled into the woods as the arrests began. The bodies of several dogs were found behind a black tarp hanging just outside the ring. The dogs recovered were either in wood cages or chained with heavy logging chains. Those in attendance at the dogfights could get cokes and hot dogs for a dollar each.
