recently in a neighborly chat she mentioned her desire to become more engaged in politics with so much at stake these days.

16. I just now noticed this thread. One of my very oldest and closest friends

is an attorney in Seattle. I have no idea if he can help, but if you want email me [e-mail] maybe something can be worked out...??

edit: to add, this fellow is probably the most intelligent person I've ever known...we have been friends since grade school in the early 1950s and were perennial rivals for "smartest kid in school" through High School. (We both got National Merit Scholarships) Long story, to be short, he was thought a wimp, joined the Marines to overcome the stereotype and is a very successful attorney. A very decent fellow, that I can guarantee.
