1. Because they had other plans. They had their eyes on Iraq. And any |

intelligence that Clinton tried to pass along just didn't fit in with those plans. Going after OBL wouldn't have gotten them into the oil fields.

right. And bin Ladin was financing the Taliban. They were pals until the Taliban said no to Bush & Bush then threatened the Taliban. And if you think about it, if a real threat gives you the right for a pre-emptive strike, what did Bush's threat to the Taliban give them (and bin Laden ) the right to do?
