Bush's space plans are part of the PNAC blueprint

Remember the Project for the New American Century's September 2000 report titled "Rebuilding America's Defenses; Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century"? It is where these arrogant SOB's told us exactly what they were going to do. They're not content for their empire of the world - they want to control the cosmos as well.

Here is what they have to say about space:

They go on to elaborate further on each of the three missions, with Space and Cyberspace beginning on page 54 of the document (page 66 of the PDF format).

Incidentally, this is the section where they say "the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor." (top of left column, page 51 of the document, page 53 of the PDF format)

Spread the word! Don't let the media puppets get away with their endless comparisons of Bush to JFK on the space issue.

Btw, they talk about having to protect cyberspace for "national security" too. They don't go on about it like they do space, but I bet they are revising that section privately now that they know how well we can organize with the internet.

You really have to consider them insane. I don't think Alexander the Great would have considered their plan credible and you know how he liked to conquer worlds.

2. Control of space

It makes much more sense than "drilling for oil on the moon", which seems to be the leading theory as of today.

3. Enough with the goofy speculations

We aren't going to space because of oil.

We aren't going to find a place to stash the baby boomers.

We aren't going because Bush wants to score political points by trying to "be like JFK" (although the media whores are racking them up).

We aren't even going in reaction to China starting a space program (although the PNAC'ers will use it).

It's part of the grand plan.

They have told us what they are doing - we need to pay attention.
