Not sure if any of you are up on your Minnesota politics, but yesterday I saw that the Mn. Senate got rid of Ultra liberal John Hottinger as their Majority Leader and took Dean Johnson (very conservative ex-republican from rural MN).
http://www.startribune.com/stories/1557/4317523.htmlAlthough I thought that this move might be coming, I had no clue that they would go to such extremes from one of the most liberal members to one of the most conservative.
At first it really bothered me. I mean...what a way to tear the party apart...but after looking at thier comments including that of my hometown Senator, Tomassoni, it made me realize just how "at peace" everyone is with this change...INCLUDING Hottinger.
It's about time that our Dems got some balls and started making a few changes! What do you guys think about all this?
