Bush was undeniably, categorically LYING when he made the following statements (except the last two, of course):

"All patriotic Iraqis should embrace this resolution <1441> as an opportunity for Iraq to avoid war and end its isolation...The United States prefers that Iraq meet its obligations voluntarily."
President Bush
Address to the Nation
November 8, 2002

"Even now, he could end his defiance and dramatically change directions...You see, the use of military force is this nation's last option, its last choice."
President Bush
Fort Hood Army Base
January 3, 2003

"The president is serious about consultation. The president is serious about diplomacy. He hopes it will work, and he wants to give it time to work."
White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer
January 30, 2003

"...reaffirming the commitment of all Member States to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq, Kuwait, and the neighbouring States..."
US-authored Security Council draft resolution
March 7, 2003

"The Vice President dropped by a Senate Republican policy lunch soon after his 10-day tour of the Middle East ...Before he spoke, he said no one should repeat what he said. Then he gave them some surprising news. The question was no longer if the U.S. would attack Iraq, he said. The only question was when."
Time Magazine
May 5, 2002

"'F___ Saddam. We're taking him out.' Those were the words of President George W. Bush, who had poked his head into the office of National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice. It was March 2002, and Rice was meeting with three U.S. Senators. "

4. bush can pretty much have a "hooters wing" in the WH and the press
doesn't do their job.

Dean talk about an Iowa caucaus yrs ago on Canadian TV and it's headlines...bush speak and his lies are deliberately not shared.

7. Bush even blamed the media for recession and got away with it
Remember a couple months back the media kept talking about the bad economy. Then Bush said the media talked the economy down by their
build-up to war. As if he wasn't on TV every day talking about WMD's and regime change and all that BS for a year. All of sudden the media starts talking about how the economy was improving and the war in Iraq suddenly changed to the WAR AGAINST TERROR and REBUILDING IRAQ.

6. It was obvious to me that he wasn't going to let the weapons inspectors
do their job. I knew it when I was watching it on tv. He can spin this all he wants but I think the american people are going to get sick of hearing "the reconstruction is Iraq is making great progress", "the economy is growing thanks to the tax cuts", "war was our last option". They are spinning themselves into the ground. What they are "saying" I don't think the people are "seeing".
