Iranian official says elections there won't be more corrupt than 2000 US
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/01/15/international/europe/15CND-IRAN.html?hp

PARIS, Jan. 15 — With Iran embroiled in an internal political struggle, Hassan Rowhani, the head of Iran's National Security Council, and Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin of France clashed today over Iran's upcoming parliamentary elections and human rights.
--------
(Rowhani) also questioned the legitimacy of George W. Bush as president, saying, "The last American presidential elections, which took place in truly catastrophic and dramatic conditions, do not allow the United States to talk about elections in other countries."

-------------------------------
One of the ways the underhanded actions of George W. and Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris and their associates in stealing the 2000 election is having international consequences.

5. That's the spirit!
This is EXACTLY what ALL other nations should be doing - slamming Bush every chance they get, keeping him in the global public eye and reminding Americans that re-Selecting that SOB could have dire consequences.

7. Since the CIA has had operatives in there for decades

My speculation is that there should be quite a lot of similarities.

Things are not always what they seem. Remember those wacko mullahs are PNAC's best friend. Nothing like em for keeping any democracy from accidentally sprouting up.

8. You tell them Mr Rohwani
No country has any right to criticize Iran's democratic procedures, which are more democratic than pretty much any Muslim country, unless they question the validity of *'s presidency.

9. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
It has been a bad day for Smirky* I fell out of my chair laughing. Not only does he have a questionable background in elections, his record for democracy isn't that hot either.

10. That's great and all
but it won't carry any water with anyone but us. No American is going to care what Iran says about anything, they're "evil" remember.
