Jack Kelley: info wanted

Would be nice, if someone here could help me out.
I'm pretty sure, there were some threads about this at DU - where else? - but I've missed them.
I did just read a small article in a german newspaper about Jack Kelley, a kind of star-reporter from USA-today, who was fired because most of his articles where simply lies and pure fiction. According to that article, he nearly did win a Purlitzer-price for his reports.
I would be interested in more detailed info, esp. about his faked reports about the Kosovo-war.
