Call me crazy, but didn't Bush repeatedly try to get the UN's assistance in Iraq? Whether or not what he asked for was appropriate and regardless of whether they should listen to him now, it would be misleading and false to act like he never bothered to go there in the first place.

but as an arrogant fuck. He will now go, be a little less arrogant, wield this quasi-victory of the heads of the UN and try to get more help. He is now, in his last year, tring to take all the dems strategies away from them.
