In response to a congressional bill, USA Today is running a poll to determine whether Americans want to keep Franklin Delano Roosevelt on the dime, or replace him with Ronald Reagan.

Whoever heard of changing the design of a coin because of a made for TV movie? Are the wingnuts just a little insecure about their hero or what? Fifty years from now school children will ask their teachers why so much stuff is named after Ronald Reagan and what will they tell them? Uh - he tripled the national debt, fired the air traffic controllers, invaded Granada, bombed Libya, and joked about using nuclear weapons. Yeah, put him on the dime in place of the president that got us out of the Great Depression and led us to victory in WWII - and who also btw, inspired the March of Dimes campaign against polio - the main reason he was put on the dime. Yeah, that would make a lot of sense. Idiot.
