What is more important to a Republican ~ Money or Power

I suspect power is actually the most important thing or Bush* would be toast. If money was their sole interest they would vote Democratic because under Democratic Administrations America has Prospered while under Republican administrations we have sunk into recession after recession. Every issue they bring up has to do with money though. I truly am confused about this.

Most of their moves are done to increase the relationship.

I think the thing that irked them the most under Clinton was that a whole lot of people did better - not just their upper class. If there's money to be made, they feel it should ALL go to them.

4. Well, money=power to them.

You can have a National recession and still have a certain segment of the population do very well. These Bush tax cuts for the rich will stay in place regardless of economic conditions given the control of goverment that exists now. I do think that it's the power that is sought and hoarded and the money follows even if not immediately. Look at the Bush family's accrual of power over this century.
