8. That always slays me. Anyone who knows anything about history

knows that the last attack by a foreign power on american soil was in 1812 when the British invaded and burned the white house down. (ummm, it was 1812, wasn't it?) (Hawaii wasn't a state in 1941, so Pearl Harbor doesn't count)

Anyway, he presided over the worst national security debacle in almost 200 years after having warning from the Clinton administration and urgent security warnings and warnings from Europe and Israel.
