The Nixon scenario and the fate of the Bush Regime in activist times

It looks more and more like the immense wealth and media control of the Bush family will prove impossible to overcome in the 2004 Presidential election, dispite all efforts by Democratic and progressive political activists. They do have the money and corporate media connections to warp and spin against any possible Democratic presidential contender.

But we are undoubtedly living in the most Activist times since the 1960's and 1970's, which will give various creative Democrats in various parts of the country various possibilities for regaining control of the Senate and House. That is what happened in the 1960's and 1970's. And as soon as that happens, Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft and Rumsfeld are guilty of far more impeachable crimes than the Nixon gang, so out they go!
