Ever Heard of The American Empire Project?

Well, I hadn't before today. I was listening to a man named Chalmers Johnson on NPR's Day to Day program. He was talking about his book "The Sorrows of Empire". It sounded fascinating so I googled to find out more and came upon this site.

And in How to Succeed at Globalization: A Primer for the Roadside Vendor, Mexican cartoonist Rafeal Barajas will depict the world economy from the perspective of the very small businessman.

We are proud to inaugurate the project with Hegemony or Survival, a new book by Noam Chomsky, which is a landmark assessment of the implications and risks of America's quest for global dominance.

he is clearly one of "our leading writers and thinkers"; remember how far ahead of the curve he was with "War on Iraq"?

Where the heck has he been lately? Did he go to Houston with the Pats or something?

of "National Security" or "Sovereignty" or "Self Defense". I imagine with all the taxes I've paid, it funded some innocent death.

4. I am reading the book, "Hegemony or Survival" now.

It is well worth the time and effort. Chomsky lays it out in devastating detail.
