Imagine a new Vietnam War Memorial standing near the original memorial. The new one is dedicated to all the Vietnamese and Cambodians who died during America's little adventure.
We lost about 50,000 people. Most of the survivors returned to relatively good homes and quality medical care in the world's wealthiest nation.
The Vietnamese lost hundreds out of thousands, out of a much smaller population. How many were injured is beyond comprehension. Besides losing lives and limbs, they lost parents, children, homes and entire villages. They inherited the legacy of Agent Orange, bomb craters and land mines.
Paying homage to all the children who never became adults thanks to soldiers fighting for the United States, South Vietnam and North Vietnam would be a noble gesture. That's why it will never happen in this shit-for-brains country.
