2. Look out for this site.

I started getting unsolicited email from them at work. I have no idea how they got my email address - I don't give my work email out to stuff like this - but people have reported simliar things happening to them when they voted in that survey about whether or not they support a constitutional amendment to bay gay marraige or something, I think it might have been at the American Family Association. Like I don't even want people at work thinking I use my work account to sign up for any email lists. I can't believe they'd do this.

I might have not had my coffee that day or something and gave it to them, but I really doubt it - I wouldn't have even given them my personal address, much less my work. Stuff where you have to give your email I'm usually like "nah".

There's a drift too - if you tell them you don't want to be on their email list, it doesn't mean that it's still not circulating to other sites. I got one from a site about movie reviews yesterday.

The green monstrous creature reminds me of old Nazi caricatures. I must say that in some ways it's advantageous to have them as an opponent. It people have to choose between them and, say, Human Rights Campaign, they may feel more comfortable with the sane lesbians and gay men at HRC. TVC is just slightly less deranged than Rev. Fred Phelps of "God Hates Fags" infamy.

They will say anything and try anything. I suppose someone could say that traditional values folks are a bunch of green fascists, but that's probably pointless. People are going to fight back and refuse to take their insults. For every person who is gay there is at least a mom and dad, and maybe some brothers and sisters, as well as a ton of straight friends, who aren't going to be bothered by the traditional values folks one bit and are going to stand up for their gay and lesbian family members and friends. That's a whole lot of people.

Actually, if any body pays any attention to the traditional values group, it's just to laugh at them. They are jackasses who don't think their long ears and their large backsides are showing. Joke's on them!
