First, Paul O'Neill comes out with his book slamming shrub as a disinterested and imbecilic puppet.
Then today, David Kay says that WMD "probably did not exist...the (SH) regime was no longer in control (in the late 1990s)." In other words, the Clinton administration had it right...and shrub lied us into war and thousands of deaths.
The VRWC conspiracy will hem and haw, try to change the subject and, finally, downplay and ridicule these two (and others) as sour grapes, disgruntled, pre-mature in their analysis, as making controversial comments...and on and on and on. But what they can't erase are the PAST words of these two bush cheerleaders who were fully on board and fully convinced that the bushies were being honest with them. Kay was absolutely cocky in his assertions last summer that WMD WOULD be found. O'Neill was looking to pick a fight with the Clinton economic policy, just like bush wanted.
We must keep this in mind as the reptiles do their expected infantile maneuvering and finger-pointing. But we know that history always bites you in the ass...and that the bite is always deeper when your own words impeach you.
The bushies are going down, and going down hard. This will be as fun to watch as it is frightening.
