In a pre-2000 world, our candidates would have a chance with the media,

but....
what do we do about the fact that CNN,MSNBC and FOX are completely controlled by Bush's camp and can bash our candidate 24/7? When they shift away from the primaries and go into the all-Bush-all-the-time mode and full time trashing of our candidate, we will be facing a propaganda machine different than what we see today. We can't think the media will be like it was in 2000 where they at least gave some coverage.

Nearly all radio stations and TV stations are controlled in the same way and there is nothing to stop them from rejecting Dem ads.

What do we do about many newspapers that may be completely plastered with Bush ads? (I heard that only 31% of Americans get their news from newspapers, so TV and radio will do the most damage).

With the Bush campaign having several hundred million dollars, (1/2 billion?) and us with maybe 150 million max, they can buy up all the air time everywhere if the stations are privately owned.

BTW, I am working hard locally. We will be going door to door here. I'm not going to give up, ever. Folks, we need to get ready for the media onslaught which will be a totally different situation than we see now or have ever seen before.
