I found this gem on a Yahoo stock discussion board. May this be the beginning of a trend.
"I don't blame Bush for everything and I don't like any of the "loud mouthed liberal tax and spend Democrat(s) who are running now for their party’s nomination". I don't like fumble-mouthed spend and borrow Republicans either.
I voted for McCain in the primary and for Bush in the fall even though I was revolted by his dirty tricks against McCain in South Carolina.
My belief is that the present administration is screwing the whole Nation.
If it looks like Bush will lose in November I just won't vote for President. If it looks like he might win I'll vote for anyone but Bush even, God forbid, a Democrat."

That he has lost some of his support, and I can not, for the life of me, see why anyone who voted for Gore would actually vote for Bush now...

...told me that he's thinking about voting for the Democratic candidate this fall because maybe the Democrat won't spend "all my money" like Bush has been doing. Believe me, even if this guy said it in jest, it's a BIG DEAL because he's always been such a huge Bush booster...

6. I would rather they don't vote than vote for a Democratic Presidential |
|
candidate. I know that sounds funny but my logic is that they are still Republicans and they may not vote for Bush* but they sure as hell are gunna vote Republican on the rest of the ticket. If we can just get them to stay home and not vote at all we may pick up a few of those supposedly "safe" seats that are now republican. Picking up Congress is a major consideration.
