They really do. He has lied just about every breath since he stole into the White House and said he was going to be a "uniter". Everybody knows how he lied about WMDs and "gathering threats" in Iraq.

If they really knew the truth about him, they would see that he is probably the most immoral and dishonest person to ever sit in the Oval Office. He doesn't go to church and he uses words like "fuck" frequently, yet he is considered a moral, God-fearing, church-going person. How did he get them to believe that lie??

Honest? I can imagine what his nickname would be if he was in a prison and was surrounded by other cellmates? Would they call him Honest George? I doubt it. Never in the history of this nation have so many people been fooled by such a con artist as the slickmeister from Crawford. Bill Clinton is a mere amateur when compared to the daring of this knave...

somehow i cannot picture him picking up a bible and trying to contemplate some of the things attributed to Jesus in the Gospels.

He doesn't even read NEWSpapers, f'chrissake (forgive me). He glances at the headlines, then waits for one of his handlers/minions to tell him what the story was about.


When i see him up there invoking god's mercy this, god bless that, i just want to puke.

8. I just read the new Al Franken book...

It's out on loan so I can't flip to the chapter, but he has some good stuff on how little Dubya really knows about the bible. It's all a sham (not that we couldn't tell by his behavior or anything).

My parents are cool.

But my mom's side of the family (who we spend Christmas with) is completely right wing. They are pro-Bush, they hate liberals with a burning passion, my uncle believes every word Rush Limbaugh and Bill OReiley say, and they like to inject right wing talking points into conversation. They actually had a discussion about how diversity was a bad thing.

Being a guest, I usually just leave the room.
