So we get to choose among two flags on the primary ballot.

Gov. Perdue kinda wimped out and didn't give the Sons of the Confederacy the flag they wanted to vote on (the "Battle Flag"), BUT, here are the choices:

This is the compromise flag that previous Gov. Barnes got through:



It has a small Battle Flag, as well as all other previous state flags.

Here is Perdue's new choice:



And just so we are clear, here is another image for reference. This is the first national flag of the Confederacy:



Just thought people should know, as this flag is not as well known as the Battle Flag, but it has at least as much segregationist symbolism as the other.
