The freepers reaction to *'s dropping numbers
a few took the normal route of sticking their heads in the sand and blaming the "liberal media", but a lot more are bashing him for it!

2. It is always mind boggling to me how people can buy the
"war on terrorism" what the hell is the "war on terrorism"?

Do they or anyone, even know? It is so vague and such a platitudinous expression that I do think these people who would accept such a stupid proposal, and sacrifice their own freedoms as well as the lives of their children for this stupid, non entity, do not, do not have the brain power to figure out that this is an impossible proposition and can never ever be considered as a real goal. Cannot they see that? I wonder why not? It is so clear to me that a "war on terrorism" is a con man's game. It means nothing. It is a carrot on a stick that appeals to people's sense of vengeance or fear. Ugh, I do think that if ever the educational system in this country is upgraded, that a course in philosophy, or how to think clearly, should be mandatory beginning with the first grade.

4. We need a War on Ignorance
and a "War on Greed"

Those two wars would solve the need for any of the other "wars"

5. There seems to be a little more discord than usual ...
over at F.R.; not that that is a bad thing.

What they appear to be doing lately, is finding any justification they can for bush's presidency being anything but a disaster.

Statistics is the last ditch effort any politician calls upon to get out of a jam. "8% GDP upswing for bush admin". Yeah, right after a 17% loss of GDP the previous 3 years, that leaves a net loss of 9%. Most of that upswing is the replenishmnet of war material and assorted costs of holding Iraq hostage.

AH........SKIP IT........bush is gonna lose.

6. Intriguing, but I'd rather not soil myself by venturing over there.
Besides, they'd get credit for yet another click.

EEEEWWWWWW!

Glad to hear about it second-hand, though. Your informational relay is good enough.

7. But, but, but, not long ago, the polls were their friends!!
You couldn't take a dump in the woods without hearing about a poll saying how popular Bush was!
