David Barton is THE person claiming 'there is no separation
between church and state' in the US.

Use yahoo, google, or whatever to find him and his works.

Then check refutation by the Southern Baptist Convention -

http://www.preciousheart.net/religious%20freedom/Barton_Critique_BJCPA.htm

(There are some other refutations, as well.)

They list and discuss several of his 'misstatements' about US history, the constitution, the founding fathers, supreme court statements, etc.

There is a good chance that at least once a month some religious right group in your area will be showing one of his videos, discussing his views, or actually hosting him.

He seems to be the main one to have created the religious right 'talking point' that 'American was founded as a Christian nation by Christians' and that the claim that there is supposed to be separation of church and state in the US is a 'secular humanist lie.'

Barton says he has presented his views to students at the Air Force Academy and that they were very upset that they 'had been lied to.'
