Conservative claims to be 'low class" and recieves 5,000 tax cut!!?!?
I was reading through a message board when the debate over the bush tax cuts came up. Some girl who says she is in the lower class bracket claims to have gotten a $5000 "tax break". So in her mind, the tax cut was was not designed for the upper class.

Does anyone see anything wrong with this argument? Im left wondering what her idea of "lower class" is. How on Earth can a "lower class" person recieve 5,000 back from the bush tax cut? They hardly pay income taxes to begin with.

She claims the tax cut came out of Federal and state, from marraige credits, children credits, all the money they paid in taxes plus more.

sounds more like a tax return to me....

anyone know much about tax cuts? Did bush adjust what income level has to pay income? i was under the impression that anyone making under 24K doesn't have to pay.

1. When you debate with a Freeper

You can expect little more than pure BS from them.
I rarely take their arguments seriously.

2. He probably is 'low class'. :) However, that refund doesn't make him
'lower class' by any means, the moran.

4. To the wealthy ...

To the wealthy, wealth is measured on the same scale as earthquakes. So the working poor would be a one. A decent job holder would be a 1.5. The well off are a 2-3. The really rich folks are 4-5. Bill gates is a 6 ($100 Billion plus). So on that scale, she is the lower class. Bill Gates is a 6 and she is just a 2.

Measures of wealth are all relative. You may feel your doing great. But as soon as you meet someone with more toys, your poor again.
