Novak was unrepentant yesterday when he offered his version: "He was calling me a traitor and a scumbag. He had been harassing me during the whole program. Somebody pushed me after yelling at me, and I just pushed back at the guy that was pushing me, and it was him."

Carr, who says he is "either retired or unemployed, it depends on my mood," is mulling whether to press the case further. For now he wants an apology from Novak.

"No apology is forthcoming." Novak said. "He doesn't deserve an apology."

Then he softened: "I'm sorry it happened -- if that's an apology."

4. Has Novak been back to Crossfire - Where is it filmed?

I don't have cable so I don't know if the traitorous correspondent has returned. I know that the show moves from place to place. It sure would be nice if a listing of Crossfire locations can be made public, so that concerned citizens can attend and express their opinions.

8. Crossfire is filmed

on some studio on the campus of George Washington University in Washington, DC, usually. They may occasionally do a live remote broadcast from some location. I believe this was case with the Novak shoving incident. They were filming live somewhere when it occurred.

Someone who witnessed the whole thing posted it here, and he didn't say anything about Novak being hit first...the guy was just calling him a traitor. Nothing was said about the guy hitting Novak.

The idiot son of a loser. When he leaves his DC studio and is exposed in everyday life as the jerk off he really is, he uses physical force to try to get his way.

Of course, when your dealing with other than 98-pound wakinlings, like Mr. Bow Tie he works with, people don't respond well to physical abuse.

He should have his butt jammed in jail.
