I'm sorry but do these people care about anybody but themselves??? How many poor minimum wage folks would have touched that letter before he did! No mention about hoping the poor folks exposed to ricin were going to be ok. This just disgusts me.

6. Was quoted with video clip on news
I saw it on NBC news tonight, showed a clip of him saying this. How disgusting, no worry about his staff or others who may have been exposed, nooooooo, an attack on my life. He was no where near his office that day.............

3. They mentioned on ABC the other night that it was sent by a US trucker
Edited on Wed Feb-04-04 06:47 PM by htuttle
There was apparently a note along with this one, and the one sent to Bush last November, that was demanding that a certain transportation-related law that was recently passed be repealed (don't remember exactly what one -- probably the one that limited OTR drivers to shorter driving shifts).

Has this been mentioned many other places? (that it was sent by a US citizen angry about a trucking law, and not 'Al Queda')

16. Here's a link that mentions the note that came with it
http://www.nj.com/news/ledger/index.ssf?/base/news-13/1075877702207290.xml

In addition, authorities are trying to determine whether the Washington cases are related to the discovery in October in Greenville, S.C., of a vial of ricin in a package addressed to the U.S. Department of Transportation. That letter, signed "Fallen Angel," protested a new trucking law that went into effect in January and warned of future attacks, KRT news service reported.

On reflection, I bet it was the law that deregulated Mexican trucks travelling on US highways.

7. Let's wait and see whether Frist...
gets on the WH's case about finding the perpetrators.

Then again Ted Olson doesn't seem to give a shit about why the US govt failed to save his wife's life on 9/11 either...

"republican" - it's American for "narcissist"

10. Someone give him a lie-detector test.
First, Frist is Republican Senate Majority leader, so he has demonstrated superior lying skill's.

Why do I think this is/was a distraction? Maybe even something to try to lay on Democrats? I put nothing past this Party.

I feel it was another ploy to grab headlines and say we are still under terror attacks! Get the headlines away from Dem elections.

11. Frankly I think that this is all a bunch of bullshit to show the ignorant
masses that repugs are also a target of terrorism. Not just the dems.

Just another propaganda ploy.

14. This will be the pretext for invading Syria
The fact that Syria has not mentioned this plot means they are hiding something. Syria is not disarming.

Munchhausen's? People who poison/injure themselves, have unnecessary surgeries, etc. I think Frist is a sick puppy.
