I happened upon the show tonight. I watched it for all of 5 minutes, maybe - I think it was towards the end. Anyway, Miller was asking for people to email him, and he asks someone off camera (presumably his audience, which is apparently his staff) what the website address is. Someone shouts out cnbc.com, and he says "oh, we don't have a website, but email me".

It was so funny.

My wife wanted to watch "The Apprentice", so I had to find something else to do. I saw a Lounge thread about his show, so I thought I'd see how bad it is.


I should have read the thread more closely. I'm not really sure what I'm feeling after watching that, but it's not good.

I hadn't seen TV in almost a year until the other night. Life with books, magazines, internet, writing, Pacifica Radio, a little NPR, music, musical instruments, phone calls to friends, ahhh...real life.

Then a friend invites me to watch some HBO which has some cool stuff. But first there was network dreck. I didn't have any soul calluses left to protect me from the horrible taste in my brain. Money-celebrities-commercials-lies-piffle-palaver-echh!
