if the bush gang is so intent on claiming that WMD still may be found in iraq, why dont they just ask saddam about it? its not like saddam is hiding in a cave like osama. he's in US captivity! don't tell me the brilliant guys at CIA don't know how to interrogate a prisoner?
ask saddam and be done with it.
unless the CIA already asked saddam and he said "No I never had WMD, and the OSP can suck my big dictator dick."

1. I'll give you two theories

Between them I have a confidence level approaching 99%.

1) They have pumped Mr. Hussein full of every truth drug known to man. They know everything there is to know about Iraq pre-war and the facts are that they didn't have squat.

2) The man they are holding isn't Saddam at all but a stooge. They believe Saddam is dead but haven't been able to recover the body so they have been unable to capitalize politically on the fact. So, they trotted out a stooge.

Nothing else makes any sense at all to me.

they have Osama - which would be first - trial of Saddam or "find" of Osama - hmmm?
