__Did US Intelligence Receive WTC Warnings Before 9-11?
From the Center for Cooperative Research: "A fascinating video relating to an important unheeded warning of the 9/11 attacks was shown on WPTV, an NBC TV station in Florida on October 7, 2002. Randy Glass, a private US citizen working as an undercover agent... learned about a threat to the World Trade Center and tried to warn various officials in government before 9/11... Florida State Senator Ron Klein and US Senator Bob Graham admit being given a warning by Randy Glass... What was the warning, who else knew about it, and why wasn't it acted upon?"

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough invited 9-11 widow Ellen Mariani to discuss her lawsuit against Bush. "PHIL BERG, ATTORNEY FOR MARIANI: I think that there is no question that Bush knew about it... was very complicit in the events of 9/11... Joe, if you take a look at the facts of 9/11, if there was nothing to hide, why would Bush be hiding everything? He didn't want the 9/11 Commission. He has been stonewalling the 9/11 Commission. They want to extend the 9/11 Commission. The word is now that the president and the White House doesn't want to do it... Think about it. For the events of 9/11 to have occurred, 116 governmental agencies and failsafe systems would have had to fail on that day. The odds of that happening are one in four million.'"

WashPost reports: "The White House, already embroiled in a public fight over the deadline for an independent commission's investigation of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, is refusing to give the panel notes on presidential briefing papers taken by some of its own members, officials said this week. The standoff has prompted the 10-member commission to consider issuing subpoenas for the notes... Lack of access to the materials would mean that the information they contain could not be included in a final report about the attacks, several officials said."

Terry McAuliffe told George Stephanopoulos he looks forward to the Democratic nominee "standing next to George Bush, a man who was AWOL in the Alabama National Guard. George Bush never served in our military in our country. He didn't show up when he should have showed up. And there's John Kerry, on the stage with a chest full of medals that he earned by saving lives of American soldiers. So is -- John Kerry says, Bring it on... They did this to Max Cleland, a triple amputee, in the Senate race in Georgia. We will not stand by and allow that to happen again. The facts are what they are, George. George Bush got out of college in 1968, the height of the draft. He used his father's contacts to get a spot in the Texas Guard. He then wanted to go work on an Alabama Senate race. He went to Alabama for one year. He didn't show up. Call it whatever you want, AWOL, doesn't matter. But if this is the way the Republicans are going, you bet, bring it on, legitimate debate." You GO, Terry!

The Republican propaganda machine NEVER allows a Democratic charge to go unanswered. So when Terry McAuliffe said Bush "went to Alabama for one year. He didn't show up. Call it whatever you want, AWOL, doesn't matter" - GOP chair Ed Gillespie should have rebutted this charge immediately on the GOP web site. Amazingly, Gillespie deliberately said NOTHING, instead distorting John Kerry's record. In fact, a search of RNC.org for "AWOL" or "Deserter" comes up empty. Why is the GOP making no effort to prove Bush reported for duty from May 1972 to November 1972? Because Bush was AWOL for at least 6 months, and probably 2 years. Hey Ed Gillespie - we TRIPLE DARE you to publish these words: "George Bush showed up for all of his required drills." We guarantee those words will never appear at GOP.com.

__Impeachment, Not Investigation: A Democrats.com Editorial
It's official. Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. So sayest David Kay. That means everything Bush said about the threat from Iraq since his 'Axis of Evil' State of the Union address in January 2002 was a lie. Investigation? What is there to investigate? There is only one question: Why hasn't Bush been impeached?
