How optomistic are you that we will win?

This is regardless of nominee. I would like to think that Dean, Kerry, Clark, or Edwards should be able to take the shrub down. But more dirt has been surfacing about Bush in the last month than in the last three years before that. His approval ratings are hitting an all time low for him. People seem to be getting sick of all this shit. They want a better future, without perpetual war and with plentiful opportunities. The only way to do that is to not re elect Bush and the neocons. How optomistic are you that we will do that?

...there's still Diebold, and even if Kerry or Dean gets in, he'll have to face a hostile Congress and media, so actually fixing Smirk's mess will be difficult.

One reason I am for Clark is I think he'll have some coattails this fall, and we will not suffer heavy losses in Congress.

Finally, if CentralAirMedia comes up on schedule, and we get the correct line-up on the air, it will help ALOT.

7. If the election were this Tuesday

we could win big time but there are months to go and who knows what will happen. We are fighting powerful forces and we don't know what the plan is yet. So far the job front looks bad for Bush* and unless he gets his buddies to start hiring it doesn't look to improve. Afraid of another LIHOP or MIHOP. That could go either way. The public could feel that we still 'need' him or that he has failed and let it happen again. And then there's the media!

11. My hunch is that the 'elite' don't want Bush anymore

He's caused them problems on a grand scale. Comes to them everytime he's in trouble and throws another 100 mil down the tube. The guy is a n'er do well and everyone knows it. He has become a liability and even the uber rich sometimes think longer term than a single fiscal quarter.

Then you have the wars, the joblessness, foreclousres and bankruptcies. The 'elite' are realizing that the American consumer fuels the economy and they need us.

The media has annointed Kerry. Notice how he's got zero negative personality traits so far? They started early on Dean and wiped him out when he suggested dismantling the media monopoly.

Bush has tons of cash, he has no compunctions about lying, the press is covering his ass at every opportunity, the Repuke convention will be a 9/11 jingoistic orgy, an October surprise is likely, and right wingers always vote.

If the public had even a short term memory, Bush would be toast on election day. Unfortunately, the public can't remember what happened yesterday unless it involved Jacko, Peterson, Kobe, or Janet's tit.
