People that support locking up non-violent drug offenders are soft on violent crime! I think it's insane to let out violent offenders due to overcrowding just so they can keep drug users in prison. Also, I think a lot of liberals (myself included) are in agreement with conservatives when it comes to dealing with violent criminals such as this one. So liberals may be tougher on crime than conservatives!
