Buchanan exposing OSP on McLaughlin tonight!!
He exposed the entire OSP operation and how they cherry-picked the intelligence for political/ideological purposes to push Congress and American people into pre-emptive war.

Said bush can't get rid of Tenet because Tenet has all the secrets and BushCo can't afford another O'Neill book. Mentioned Tenet's speech covered all the bases - playing both sides of the fence. Tenet's walking a tightrope.

I thought Blankeley was going to have a stroke. Eleanor Clift was all over his fat ass tonight. Great show!

2. My PBS station
has that program on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. Thanks for the heads up. I don't know what Blankley doesn't go back to the UK. He is entirely useless.

3. if you haven't read "The Stovepipe" by Seymour Hersh, here:
The Stovepipe

Hersh gives a vivid account of how this cherry picking, what he calls stove piping, works.

6. I dont recall reading this column before ...
Why ? ... Did this one pass under the radar ?... Hell this is old .... and STILL cuts like a knife ...

This is an amazing piece, just chock full of shocking insights into the madness of the Neocons ... Thielmann is credible, and singing like a bird ...

Bolton is just one of the PNAC assholes .... Only one ..... geeeeez ...

Hopefully: the american people are waking up to this band of dangerous buffoons parading as 'world leaders' ....

It sure seems like it ....

7. Hersh does blockbusters while the media studies a new hair-do
American journalism, 2004.

Time for prayer.

8. I hate to say it, but Buchanan is one of the few pundits
worth listening to anymore. More often than not (especially when he's on Mac Group) he deviates from the GOP line and gives very astute political analysis.

9. Patrick Buchanan..
Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 02:52 AM by grasswire
...is brilliant, true to his principles, and a paleo-con who has nothing to lose. He's free to speak the truth as a sort of curmudgeon.

I admire him. He won't let Bushco take the U.S. into imperialism without a fight.

Remember, his book just a few years ago was titled "A Republic, Not An Empire."

11. I agree
You sort of have to admire anyone who really sticks to his principles. I'm not a communist but I admire Che Guevara. and I'm not a conservative but I admire Pat Buchanan, and I find him interesting to hear out.

12. I wouldn't have ever expected to, but...
I agree. I've developed a weird fondness for him, quasi-Falangist though he is.

Diogenes would've dug him, which is what I like.

13. Remember the NAFTA fight?
Pat said if the elites didn't stop this madness, the peasants were going to pick up their pitchforks, storm the castle, and kill the bastards (not those exact words but close).
