How many jobs did Bush say the tax cuts would create?

Wasn't he claiming that by April of this year the 3,000,000 lost jobs would be reclaimed? IIRC that was some 300,000 jobs created per month, from the point of the massive cuts, yes?

Also: How many jobs, net, does the economy have to create monthly to simplt keep pace with population growth? 150,000 or 180,000?

1. tax cuts do not create jobs

without customers, employers do not hire, period.

if an employer that doesnt have more customers gets a tax break, that employer puts that money in the bank, or in the stock market.

the only way to create jobs is to give those at the bottom more spending power, creating more demand for products and services, creating jobs to provide them

It's amazing to me that people who have studied economics all their lives arent screaming this from every tv

Henry Ford understood that if he were to sell the cars he was making, then his workers needed to be able to afford them. Men now earned a decent wage and could afford a decent life and it transformed America.

On a personal note, both of my husband's grandfathers moved to Detroit around then to go to work in the Ford assembly plant.
