I think he would be smart to nominate Howard Dean. Why? he has a strong activist army which supports him and the internet will be a valuable tool. He has shaken the party establishment (like Clark would do if he were nominated as well) which is something that the public seems to like. Finally, a VP nominee needs to be fiesty on the stump and everyone seems to agree (even his detractors) that Dean is plenty fiesty--and won't be like Lieberman in a debate with Cheney.

Graham would make up for the lack of Hill experience and help with Florida. On the other hand, adding Richardson would move the Hispanic and Western voters toward the Democrats to help take the Senate and strenghten the House.

I would choose Richardson, because we don't need Florida with Arkansas and New Hampshire, and maybe even Virginia, West Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, and maybe even a few others he would pick up.

Much better choice. As far as the "lack of hill experience", I would tend to think that if he did win, the Dems in Congress would lend a hand. If out of gratitude of beating Bush for no other reason.

I hope he does run, I'm sure somebody somewhere has something that will trump the Lincoln landing in spades. It'll be a fun campaign.

Number 1: I have yet to see any convincing evidence that Clark is lacking in anything on the list.

Number 2: In a head to head comparision with Bush, I think Clark is WAY AHEAD in EVERTHING on the list.

Number 3: In such a match-up, those differences will become as apparent to the "voter" as Moose standing on the highway in broad daylight.
